Mystery Figure - latest gossip

The Mystery Figure lurking at the top of the agathachristie.com homepage has finally made their move and murdered a member of the community. Police are powerless to stop the killer from striking again, until somebody can identify them.

Stay tuned to agathachristie.com over the coming weeks and see if your little grey cells can make sense of proceedings. In the meantime discuss who you think it is with other members of the community below - though get too close to the truth and you might wind up MURDERED!

I met a man called WillParish once in Paris....(Well actually I never did but it's a little clue for people who might just still be searching. Good luck!)

(I'm also aware that probably not many people are still on the clue but I felt I needed to leave a hint anywhere because everybody else helps me with hints.....Also look at Tomasino66's idea on page 2 and then read my hint and first sentence again and you should get it!!

Don't worry, MissSherlock ;)  You will undoubtedly be hearing from that charmless nerk, the Mystery Murderer, in due course!

The clues are hidden around the start. You need to start from clue 1 it'll be easier for you MissSherlock.

The victims names are always the clues.

Wait, is this the murder of Will Perish?? Wish I could use deduction on this but the problem is that I don't have any suspects, and I'm pretty sure to solve a murder you have suspects so that you can use you're deduction skills.

I'm still convinced my guess is right! I assumed "they" to be just a way of hiding gender too.

so I'm thinking we're gonna get a Clue 7 soon, but the Mods are going to have to give us all the parts of the clue pretty quick!

I agree with you SpearmintHippo about 'they' being a way of getting around the gender issue - it makes more sense to me than the involvement of more than one person as the Mystery Murderer.

And Clue 7 - either it will be very simple because of the time limit, or it will be an absolute corker which will be agony to solve.  I am glad that there is another clue - would hate this game to be over!

Well I am back to school next week and will be busy so I don't think I will have time to work on a 7th Clue. My solution has stood the test of time; it is the tie breaker that is the problem. Good Luck, and thanks for all your help in solving the mystery.

Christie week starts on the 12th September, and this competition needs to have finished and the organisers will need to have decided on the winner by then. If you reflect on how long we were given to solve each clue it was more that two weeks, so I think Clue 6 is the final one.

the last newsletter speaks of one last clue, the 7th.We've got until Monday the 13th at Noon to submit our entries. (terms and conditions)

you're right, it did took them long with the previous clues; most probably the 7th one will be different... it will be a coup de grâce / a death blow. In my humble opinion
