found the second pic - much searching was needed! Wasn't sure which part of the clue was relevant and spent quite a bit of time searching the wrong thing
but got there in the end! Still don't see how they are linked though!
Ooh I had another idea!
I didn't find it.
But I will say my idea. I thought maybe The Moving Finger but I can't find anything.
I just got on and all of this has happened! I've already found the second pictorial clue and when I was reading the posts someone gave me an idea to where the 6th clue is!
So ill post back if I find it!!!!!!!!!
ninjapenguinArrrgh. I feel stupid for not finding the second picture yet. But every time I try to search for the second clue word, it gives me an incomplete list. For example, it leaves out the nursery rhyme books, which should fit the criteria. So now I am wondering if the novel/link I need is just not showing up in my list. Is anyone else having this problem?
Don't feel stupid, I am sure you are closer than you think. Try pressing refresh when that happens. Some good hints given by Pat so far.

i try to find how does it ling to the first pic, i see only one link and i'm not shore it's the right one.
anyway, it was a little harder to find
maryofscots/me feels dumb.
I found the first clue...don't know where to go from there.
yes, use the same patern and look carefully at each novel/link you will get. pay attention as the link for the 2nd pic clue is hidden a bit. good luck!
InspectorGrantNot at this stage, Pat - although I think we may be thinking along the same lines ;)
good, good

I found the first clue...don't know where to go from there.
Think of a very famous novel about the French Revolution by Charles Dickens, Maryofscots - and then do what Patito just said!
Good hunting ;)
Yay! found it!!! the second pic was easy to found.. just follow the same pattern as the first one...
mmm... I'm trying to link them now...
Pat_septemberSo far I can only think of one connection... I see the 2nd pic clue has not been altered... So we have the second hand that's been added on the clock in the first pic clue... and that's moving... and we also have a hand that's got all of its five fingers...
care to give us a hint regarding your sudden inspiration, Inspector?

Ooh, Pat_September, something you said about the 2nd pic being unchanged made me realise where it is from, thank you! I had missed that before...
Knowing where that came from gave me another idea of how the pics are linked, although I don't think I'm right cause that wouldn't explain the modifications to the1st pic...
Ah, if only we knew if the 6th clue was up and ready to be found already!! :-)
Yay! I found it.
