Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is best known for her portrayal of Joan Holloway on AMC’s critically acclaimed series Mad Men. Hendricks’ portrayal of Joan has earned the actress six Emmy nominations in the category of Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. Mad Men won the 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 Emmy Award for outstanding drama series, the 2009 Golden Globe for Best Television Series – Drama as well as the 2009 and 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. Hendricks is a two time Critics Choice Television Award winner for her role as Joan for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

In Crooked House Hendricks plays Brenda Leonides, the vivacious former Vegas show-girl and much younger widow of Aristide Leonides. Talking about Agatha Christie, Hendricks said:
