Lucy Boynton
Lucy Boynton plays Countess Andrenyi alongside Sergei Polunin who plays her husband, Count Andrenyi. Kenneth Branagh described Lucy as “a very beautiful and talented actress” who “really found a way to inhabit this character's loneliness and isolation, and intrigued us as to what the reason for that was.”
Boynton marked her breakthrough as the female lead in John Carney’s Sing Street. The film got rave reviews and received a Golden Globe nomination in the category of Best Motion Picture for a Musical or Comedy. Her first feature film role was as young Beatrix Potter in Chris Noonan’s Miss Potter, for which she received a nomination for Best Supporting Young Actress in a Feature Film at the Young Artist Awards. Boynton’s other credits include Osgood Perkins’ horror film, The Blackcoat’s Daughter, Lisa Rubin’s series Gypsy, Danny Strong’s J.D. Salinger biopic Rebel In The Rye, and Polly Steele’s Let Me Go.
