Morven Christie
Morven Christie plays Kirsten Lindstrom, the longstanding housekeeper to the Argyll family at Sunny Point. Plain clothed, her hands are roughened with work. She carries on her shoulders the trials and tribulations of the Argylls’ deeds and misdeeds.
Morven has made her mark on British TV with credits including BBC One’s psychological thriller mini-series The Replacement that had viewers on the edge of their seats in early 2017. In 2016 Morven starred in BBC drama television series The A Word, winning her rave reviews. She has recently finished filming the eagerly-anticipated second season of THE A WORD that will air later in the year. Morven also starred in the much-loved ITV series Grantchester.
On the big screen, she featured in an all-star cast including Emily Blunt, Rupert Friend, Paul Bettany, Miranda Richardson, Jim Broadbent and Mark Strong in The Young Victoria, and starred in the BAFTA nominated romantic drama, Liting alongside Ben Whishaw. Further film credits include: Shell and The Flying Scotsman. Morven’s acting credits aren’t limited to the screen having played various leading roles in theatre, on stages in London and New York, including among others the RSC, National Theatre and West End.
