Introducing this new collectible bear

Hercule Poirot, the retired Belgian police officer who became the world’s most famous private detective, was created over 100 years ago. His first appearance was in Christie's debut novel The Mysterious Affair at Styles, published in 1920. The combination of his intellectual brilliance, commitment to justice, and his fastidious approach to his appearance has enthralled generations.

Steiff – the inventors of the teddy bear – have created a wonderful limited-edition tribute to the meticulous Belgian detective.

Hand-made from the finest light-blonde mohair, every detail of this stunning bear is simply perfect. Steiff have even managed to re-create his perfectly groomed moustache! Of course, the outfit for this dapper detective had to be tailored to perfection. His pristine 3-piece suit is finished with a Homburg hat and cane.

In his ear you’ll find the Steiff golden button and white label with red writing that signifies his special limited-edition status. Only 1,920 pieces can ever be produced worldwide – in honour of the year of Poirot’s first appearance in print.

Actual size of bear is 11" (28cm) tall.
